About Art Training Centre
To promote artistic skills of individuals with special needs and to provide performance opportunities.
The Different Art Centre (DAC) model focuses on identifying, enhancing, and showcasing the raw talents of children with disabilities. This holistic approach involves family members, caregivers, and the community.
Replicating the DAC Model at IIPD, Kasaragod
The International Institute for Persons with Disabilities (IIPD) will replicate the DAC model through its Art Training Centre, incorporating innovative methods.

Objectives:
- Identify, nurture, and enhance artistic skills in individuals with special needs.
- Mitigate marginalization by showcasing talents through performances, exhibitions, and collaborations.
- Create opportunities for social integration and social reinforcement of individuals with disabilities.
Outcomes:
- Fosters self-concept, confidence, and motivation through artistic expression.
- Enhances emotional well-being and physiological skill development.
By adopting this comprehensive approach, IIPD aims to empower children with disabilities, promoting their overall development and social inclusion.
The following components are designed and planned under Art Training Facility for the implementation.
- Bekal Fort – Facility for the training and performance of instrumental music
- Camille Cascade – Facility for Magic Training and Performance by Individuals with Special Needs
- Jaleo Mahal – Facility for Dance Training and Performance by Individuals with Special Needs
- Beethoven Bangalow – Facility for Music Training and Performance by Individuals with Special Needs
- Angelo Artree – Facility for Drawing and Painting Training and Exhibition by Individuals with Special Needs
