Gopinath Muthukad, is an internationally acclaimed magician and motivational speaker from Kerala. Muthukad founded first magic museum Magic Planet at Thiruvananthapuram.
Muthukad's work has been widely appreciated, and he continues to inspire and mesmerize audiences with his unique blend of magic, creativity, and social responsibility. By spending 45 years in Magic, he attained world’s highest recognition in the magic field, the prestigious Merlin Award. In 2016, Mr. Muthukad has started working for children with special needs and stopped professional magic in 2021 to dedicate his rest of the life completely for the well being of children with special needs.
His vision is to create a world where every individual, regardless of their abilities, has the opportunity to contribute positively to society through love and care. Through initiatives like Different Art Centre, he and team strive to empower differently-abled children by providing them with the necessary resources and opportunities to unleash their potential and become humble individuals who can make a difference in the world. His dream project, the International Institute for People with Disabilities, is a step towards achieving this vision. He is committed to dedicating his rest of life to the welfare of those who need it the most.
Through Different Art Centre and their other initiatives, they strive to empower individuals to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. They are dedicated to to creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
Inspired by the success of the Different Art Centre model in enhancing development of children and young adults with special needs, we are expanding this model to new geographical areas.

Different Art Centre, fosters the artistic talents and social The International Institute for People with Disabilities (IIPD) is a visionary initiative to create an inclusive ecosystem empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential. Inspired by the acclaimed Different Art Centre (DAC) model, recognized for fostering social inclusion and empowerment, IIPD seeks to replicate its impact in new regions.
Kasaragod, one of Kerala's most underdeveloped districts and severely affected by health issues linked to endosulfan aerial spraying, has been chosen as the IIPD location. This initiative aims to address these challenges while promoting empowerment and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
